Welcome to the website for Golden Isles Chapter of SHRM (GISHRM)

A local chapter of the coastal area of the Society for Human Resources Management. The Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) is the world's largest association devoted to human resources management.  Representing more than 210,000 individual members, the Society's mission is both to serve human resources management professionals and to advance the profession. Founded in 1948, SHRM currently has more than 550 affiliated chapters within the United States and members in more than 100 countries.

We believe that our association of HR professionals is your best source for keeping in touch with and contributing to the Human Resources community of the coastal area. Our chapter offers monthly meetings and periodic seminars on timely HR topics, including legislative issues affecting employers, workshops to enhance and broaden your professional skills, and an excellent way to network with your HR colleagues.

Monthly Meeting

Our meetings are typically held on the third Wednesday of each month starting at 11:30. Contact us for more information on locations. Lunch will be available for members and guests. Check the Meetings & Events tab for more details.

When an HRCI program is offered, GISHRM non-members may participate for a minimal cost, which includes training and lunch.
